Ask yourself some general open ended questions and give yourself time to think through them.
Think about planning a trip, if you don’t have a map or a plan of how to get to your destination, you will very likely get lost.
Don’t set a goal just because someone else told you it was a good goal. If it doesn’t mean anything to you, you aren’t likely to work very hard to achieve it. For example, if someone really wants to get organized they are more likely to succeed than if they are only setting their nutrition goals because a family member wants them to do so.

These are my time management challenges :
Are you always late to meetings? yes
Do you work too late in the evening? yes.
Now I am curious…How do you propose that I change these?
Great question Carol. There isn’t a quick fix, but this is something you can overcome with dedicated work. I would recommend that you first spend time looking at why you are late to meetings and why you work late in the evenings. Next, develop goals that are SMART (Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely) and make an action plan with small steps to work toward your goal. Give yourself at least 3 weeks with your action plan and evaluate your progress. It might take longer than 3 weeks, but my experience is that it will take at least 3 weeks.
