I am Laura Rolands, the founder of My Attention Coach, a national coaching and training organization.  I am passionate about helping individuals with ADHD achieve success.  My clients include professionals and students with attention-related challenges.  I have been featured on Making a Living with Maggie Mistal on Sirius/XM radio, listed as one of  50 Special Ed Teachers and Experts Worth Following on Twitter and recognized as an ADHD expert by OrganizedWisdom.com.

I have been providing coaching and training for many years and established My Attention Coach in early 2009. Prior to establishing the business, I spent over fifteen years as a Human Resources professional and executive in the automotive industry where I was recognized as a top performer and a leader. Much of my time was spent coaching employees and managers to achieve success. Others have said that Laura is never satisfied until her clients are happy.

I graduated from Michigan State University in 1991 and received my Masters from Cornell University in 1993. In addition, I have furthered my education by training the Coaches Training Institute and with JST Coaching, LLC in the following courses:

  • Coaching Teens and College Students with AD/HD
  • Coaching Kids Ages 8 – 12 with AD/HD

In addition to my work as an Attention Coach, I was the Research Assistant on the first ever national study to investigate the benefits of ADHD coaching for college students.  The study was funded by the Edge Foundation and the research is being conducted by the Center for Self-Determination and Transition at Wayne State University.
